What agencies require consultation for complex projects?

  • FEMA must consult with the U.S. ​ Fish and Wildlife Service and/or National Marine Fisheries Service     for projects affecting federally-listed species or critical habitat under     the Endangered Species Act. ​
  • FEMA must consult with the appropriate U.S. ​ Fish and Wildlife Service Ecological Services field office for     projects within or adjacent to Coastal Barrier Resources System units     under the Coastal Barrier Resources Act. ​
