Pursuant to 44 C.F.R. 206.223 and the PA Guide; the Applicant must establish that the proposed work is a direct result of the declared disaster. The Applicant has not demonstrated that the Hospital generator ongoing maintenance issues were a result of damage caused by Hurricane Sandy. Accordingly; work related to the generator is not eligible for funding.Pursuant to 44 C.F.R. 206.206(c)(1)-(2); an Applicant has 60 days to file its appeal after receipt of the notice of the action that is being appealed. The Grantee then has 60 days to forward the appeal to FEMA.
