Immediate Threat

HEADNOTES

FEMA may provide funding for emergency work, including debris removal that is in the public interest. Applicants are responsible for showing that emergency work is required due to an immediate threat resulting from the declared incident. The Applicant has not demonstrated how two leaning street signs and minimal vegetation damage in unimproved areas or on private property in the Community Development District posed an immediate threat from the declared incident.

CONCLUSION

The Applicant has not demonstrated the claimed work is required to eliminate an immediate threat caused by the disaster. Therefore, this appeal is denied.
