FEMA policy limits the timeframe during which an applicant may claim management costs. The timeframe is directly tied to the event declaration date or the applicant’s non-management cost projects and the associated work completion or period of performance dates, whichever is soonest. The Applicant’s documentation shows the last non-management cost project was completed on April 9, 2021; therefore, FEMA cannot extend the timeframe for the Applicant to claim incurred management costs beyond October 6, 2021.
Based on the Applicant’s latest non-management costs project work completion date, April 9, 2021, FEMA cannot extend the timeframe for the Applicant to claim management costs incurred beyond October 6, 2021. Therefore, this appeal is denied.
